C23-2022 Re: Survey on Issues/Problems Faced by Members of the Malaysian Iron and SteelIndustry

As 2022 is about to end, we wish to thank all of you for the support rendered to MISIF.
MISIF, as the national industry association representing the whole value chain of the iron and
steel industry in Malaysia, from upstream to the downstream manufacturing activities, has a
great responsibility in ensuring the healthy development and growth of the industry. Towards
this end, MISIF will continue to adopt a consultative approach to obtain viewpoints that reflect
the general consensus of MISIF members on the issues at hand and to continuously engage
and collaborate with the Government authorities on diverse subject- matters.

In view of the above, it is imperative for MISIF to receive regular feedback from members,
through a survey on the various problems faced by members so that an overview of critical
matters confronting the industry could be identified. This would then facilitate further
discussions within MISIF as well as with the Government (where relevant) with the sole aim of
formulating appropriate optimal solutions in addressing the issues for the benefit of the

concerns or recommendations, if any, for the industry as part of our agenda next year through

intend to carry out this survey on a periodical basis, nevertheless, you are welcome to indicate
to us at any point of time desirable in the event you have any situation or matters that require
