Ministry of International Trade & Industry (MITI) had shared information from the Directorate-General for Trade of the European Commission, which has published in the Official Journal a Notice Initiating An Investigation To Assess Whether The Safeguard Measure On Certain Steel Products currently in place should be prolonged beyond 30 June 2021.
As you are aware, the review involves 28 steel products, which, among others, include non alloy wire, stainless wire rod, and rebar. Attached is the initiation notice for your reference.
Interested parties must make themselves known within 15 days of the date of publication of the Notice i.e. by 13 March 2021 (Saturday). Hence, should your association/company wishes to register as an interested party to the investigation, you may do so via TRON.tdi (https://tron.trade.ec.europa.eu/tron/TDI) or write in to the Investigating Authority:
