MISIF, Nickel Institute and International Molybdenum Association jointly organized a webinar titled “Structural Stainless Steel For Corrosive Environments, Resilience And Aesthetic Applications” on 2nd June 2022.
The webinar session was conducted by Ms Catherine Houska, President of Catherine Houska Consulting LLC in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She holds a BS in Metallurgical Engineering & Materials Science from Carnegie Mellon University and a MBA from Case Western Reserve University and has received multiple national and regional Technical Awards from the Construction Specifications Institute for her contributions to the industry.
The webinar presentation shows specifiers how to evaluate exterior environments and select an appropriate stainless steel for aesthetic and structural applications. Understanding the service environment is also critical for successful stainless steel finish selection for aesthetic applications. A total of 51 participants joined the webinar session from various steel related companies.
