The Steel Industry’s 2012 Annual Dinner

We are pleased to inform that the Steel Industry's 2012 Annual Dinner will be held on Thursday, 1 November 2012 in the Lagoon 1 & 2, Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa, Bandar Sunway, Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

Tables are available for booking now at:

  • RM5,000 for tier 1 tables;
  • RM4,000 for tier 2 tables;
  • RM3,200 for tier 3 tables.
The dinner event will include an eight course Chinese Dinner and guests will be entertained by Amanda Evangeline, emcee for the night and The Killer Girls, well known for their repertoire of hits songs and captivating dance steps. The highligh of the evening will be performance by local stand-up comedian, Douglas Lim.

10th MISIF Conference On Status & Outlook Of The Malaysian Iron & Steel Industry


We are pleased to inform that the 10th MISIF Conference on Status and Outlook of the Malaysian Iron and Steel Industry is scheduled on 25-26 September 2012 at the Auditorium, Sunway Resort Hotel, Petaling Jaya, Selangor

This 1½-day event will focus on the strategic importance and competitiveness of the domestic steel industry, business trends, opportunities & outlook, pragmatic policies & promotional undertakings and developments in key steel application industries. Top officials from organizations authoritative in their respective fields have been invited to present papers at the conference. Among those expected to attend the conference include leaders and senior members of the Federation and the iron and steel business community, officials from government ministries and agencies, embassies and related trade associations/chambers of commerce, the service providers such as financial institutions, securities firms, consultants, suppliers, mass media and other supporters of the iron and steel industry.

The first announcement brochure detailing the conference registration procedure, programme and other useful information is attached for your further action. Training Course on Introduction to Steelmaking

Each year, the South East Asia Iron and Steel Institute (SEAISI) collaborates with the national committees of its member countries (MISIF in Malaysia) to organize a travelling seminar on topics of interest to the steel community in the ASEAN region.
